Thick Top Low Side Table

The lower of Toou's two Thick Top side tables, 35cm tall with a 48cm top, sized to sit beside a sofa seat or lounge chair. Simone Viola gave the grooved top the proportions of a tray, so the whole table picks up and moves as easily as one. This version pairs a black top with an eco white base.

The name refers to the top's considerable thickness, yet the table is unexpectedly lightweight thanks to clever use of materials. Its base is eco plastic, a compound of recycled organic waste materials with an extremely low environmental impact, and the design is intended for interior and exterior use alike, from living room to garden. Cleaning is a quick wipe.
