$3,855.00A 240cm sofa with bold proportions and a low frame that appears to float clear of the floor. The backrest slopes gently and the arms are oversized at 51cm high and 31cm wide, giving Parkha its architectural outline; the seat itself sits 42.5cm high and 63cm deep.
Construction is traditional where it counts: a kiln dried hardwood and plywood frame carrying webbing and spring support, under seat cushions of feather and Dacron. Feather over springs is a classic soft sit recipe, so expect to plump the cushions regularly. The influence is mid-century European, worn loosely rather than reverently.
