Mate Side Table

Sebastian Herkner's Mate side table is two circles and nothing else: a solid oak top resting on a cylindrical oak veneer base. At 45cm wide and 50cm high it lands at sofa-arm height, and its closed base gives it more presence than a legged table of the same size.

The top is solid oak, stained black or dark brown to match the veneered base beneath. Solid timber moves subtly with the seasons and darkens gracefully; coasters are its only real ask. Danish design by Wendelbo, made in Vietnam. An end-of-line piece at clearance pricing, sold as seen.
