Luna Queen King Bed

The Luna bed in NZ queen, sized for a 153 x 203cm mattress, sold separately. It keeps a deliberately low, streamlined profile: the upholstered headboard stands 114cm, the frame runs 162cm wide by 228cm long, and the platform floats about 15cm off the floor on slender steel legs.

The headboard is solid birch with plywood and MDF reinforcement; side and end rails are plywood covered in polyurethane foam and fabric lining. Steel framed beech slats with narrow rib gaps give even support under pocket spring mattresses, and the frame accepts mattresses up to 40cm thick, so deeper hotel style mattresses are fine. Covers remove on Velcro, and the legs are steel in grey metallic paint with plastic glides.
