This website is operated by Heards Ltd trading as Bauhaus, a 100% New Zealand–owned family business based in Auckland. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Bauhaus.

1. About Bauhaus Online
Bauhaus offers this website, its content, and our online store as part of our retail and wholesale service to customers in New Zealand.
Our site is hosted by Shopify Inc., which provides the e-commerce platform that enables us to sell our products to you.

5. Products, Pricing & Availability
All prices shown are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless stated otherwise.
Prices, product availability, and specifications may change without notice. Freight pricing is based on current rates at the date of the quote.
Due to ongoing global fuel cost volatility, freight charges may change prior to delivery. Bauhaus will absorb increases in freight costs up to 20% of the quoted freight amount.
If freight costs increase by more than 20%, the full increase above the original quoted freight amount will be charged at the prevailing rate at the time of delivery. Any such adjustment will be confirmed with you prior to delivery.
Customers are also welcome to arrange their own freight at their own cost if preferred.
We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders that appear to be made by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
Certain products — such as custom-made, end-of-line, or clearance items — may be excluded from promotions or returns.

6. Orders, Payment & Billing
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion.
If we make a change to or cancel an order, we’ll notify you using the email or phone number provided at checkout.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate contact and payment details for all purchases. It’s your responsibility to update this information to ensure successful communication and delivery.
All payments are securely processed through Shopify Payments or other approved gateways. Bauhaus does not store or have access to your full payment information.
7. Delivery
Delivery times are estimates only and depend on product availability and freight capacity.
We take great care to ensure safe delivery, but any delivery dates provided are indicative.

8. Returns & Refunds
Our Refund & Returns Policy forms part of these Terms.
By purchasing from Bauhaus, you acknowledge and agree to that policy.
In summary:

You have 7 days from receipt of your order to request a return for eligible items.

Returned items must be in as-new, saleable condition.

Restocking and return freight fees may apply.

Damages or issues must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
