Thick Top High Side Table

Toou's Thick Top side table in the taller of its two heights, 50cm, with a 48cm top. Simone Viola proportioned the grooved top like a tray, so it handles like one: beside a lounge chair, next to the bed, or trailing the party around the garden. This version pairs a dark brown top with an eco light brown base.

Despite the name and the top's considerable thickness, the table is unexpectedly lightweight thanks to clever use of materials. The base is made of eco plastic, a compound of recycled organic waste materials with an extremely low environmental impact, and Toou intends the design for interior and exterior use alike. It doubles as a valet stand, and wipes clean.
