Elan Queen Bed

The Elan queen bed: a low, upholstered platform with a 95cm headboard that leans gently back, sized for a standard NZ queen mattress of 153 x 203cm. The frame adds roughly 11cm each side, so it fits where a queen should.

The frame is a steel headboard with plywood side and end rails, padded with foam under the upholstery, on black steel legs with plastic glides. The mattress sits on slats with support bars, 22cm off the floor with clearance beneath for airflow and the vacuum. Extra covers are available to order, which is worth knowing for a bed you will keep for years.
