Amor Queen Bed (for mattress 153x203cm)

A queen bed built around Amor's signature double folded headboard, a crisp upholstered fold that gives the bedhead structure without visual bulk. It stands 100cm tall on a footprint 166cm wide by 229cm long, sized for a standard NZ queen mattress of 153 x 203cm, sold separately.

The headboard is solid birch with plywood and MDF reinforcement, the side and end rails plywood, all padded with integrally moulded polyurethane foam beneath fabric or leather. Steel framed beech slats with narrow rib gaps suit pocket spring mattresses up to 30cm thick, and covers remove on Velcro when they need cleaning. Slim steel legs in black metallic paint keep the frame just off the floor.
