Yokozeki Ryota's Tomo for Toou, a side table with a quietly Japanese character. At 41cm long, 27.5cm wide and 46cm tall it slips beside a sofa arm or bed, and it is happy working as a bedside table or an occasional stool when numbers swell. Five colours: black, white, latte, green and pink.

Tomo is moulded from polypropylene and recycled waste materials, part of Toou's push to keep its products' environmental impact low, and it is incredibly light to move around the house. There is nothing to assemble and nothing to maintain beyond a wipe with a damp cloth.
