$199.00Toou's Outo side chair, designed by Sander Mulder and born for outdoor living: 47.5cm wide, 82.5cm tall, and generous in the seat while staying light enough to carry one handed. It earns a place on decks, terraces and courtyards, and looks just as resolved around an indoor table.
The shell is moulded from a waterproof, UV resistant material that is unafraid of sun, rain and temperature swings. Slots in the seat and back are doing real work: they drain raindrops quickly and let wind gusts pass through, and they give Outo its signature look. The chairs stack, so a spare set stores against a wall. White, black or dark green; hose off and wipe down to clean.
