Headboard and rails
The Amor Queen Bed from Camerich has a double-folded upholstered headboard that gives the bedhead structure without visual bulk. It is 100 cm tall on a footprint 166 cm wide by 229 cm long. The headboard is solid birch with plywood and MDF reinforcement, and the side and end rails are plywood, all padded with moulded polyurethane foam beneath fabric or leather. Covers remove on Velcro for cleaning.
Slats and mattress
Amor uses steel-framed beech slats with narrow rib gaps. They suit pocket spring mattresses up to 30 cm thick. The bed fits a standard NZ queen mattress of 153 x 203 cm, sold separately. Slim steel legs in black metallic paint keep the frame just off the floor.
Why the slats matter
Slats carry the mattress and let it breathe. Narrow gaps support a pocket spring base evenly, and a steel frame under the beech slats resists sagging over time. Check the maximum mattress thickness before you buy a mattress, not after.
Around the bed
The Crescent Bedroom Bench Seat is 148 cm wide, 48 cm deep and 37 cm high, at end-of-bed scale for a queen or king. It has removable covers on slim dark steel legs.
For bedsides, the Max Bedside Table is 62 cm wide and 50 cm high with two drawers, in grey oak veneer on a blackened steel frame. The Harmon Bedside is a round marble-top table, 49 cm across and 52 cm high, on four castors. Marble is porous, so wipe spills promptly.

Measure the bedroom, including the walkway at each side of the bed. The Amor is 229 cm long, and the Crescent bench sits at the foot, so allow for both. Mark the footprint on the floor with tape and walk around it.
