Stools for an island
The Raphael Bar Stool is a solid timber stool with a gently curved backrest and a cushioned eco leather seat. Softly rounded legs and considered foot rails make it comfortable for sitting rather than perching. Seat height is 65 cm. It suits kitchen islands and bar leaners where people settle in: breakfast, homework, the long end of a dinner party.
It comes in coffee bean ash with an Oyster pad and smoked ash with a Dark Chocolate pad. The eco leather seat wipes clean, which a kitchen stool will need.
Choosing the stool height
A 65 cm seat height is a counter stool, which suits a standard kitchen bench. Measure your counter height before you order, and leave about 25 to 30 cm between the seat and the underside of the counter edge. If your island is a taller bar leaner, check the seat height against it in the showroom.
A table in the kitchen
For a compact eating area, the Armano Round Dining Table is 1.2 metres across and seats four. Its microskin surface is waterproof and made for everyday dining. For a longer kitchen, the Nova Table has a pedestal base, so chairs slide in anywhere.

Spacing
Allow about 65 cm of counter edge for each stool, and around 90 cm behind a seated person to walk past. Four stools need about 2.6 metres of counter edge.
